Auto top-up is here: Enjoy uninterrupted spending with amaze wallet
You’re next in line. Coffee in one hand, card in the other. You tap to pay, only to realise your wallet doesn’t have enough balance.
Now you’re scrambling to unlock your phone, open the app, manually top up your wallet, and try again while the queue waits. It’s an unnecessary hassle nobody wants to deal with.
That’s where auto top-up comes in – a smarter way to keep your amaze wallet funded whenever you need it.
What is auto top-up for amaze wallet?
Auto top-up is a feature in the Instarem app that automatically reloads your amaze wallet in SGD whenever your balance drops below a threshold you choose, directly from your linked bank account.
No manual reloads. No checking your balance before you pay. Simply link your bank account, choose your preferred balance threshold and top-up amount once, and your wallet takes care of the rest every time your balance runs low.
So, whether you’re tapping in for your MRT ride, paying for groceries, or getting the dinner bill, your wallet is always ready for your next payment.
How it works
You can set up auto top-up for your wallet in just a few simple steps.
- Tap Set up auto top-up in your app.
- Link your bank account.
- Set your balance limit and top-up amount.
- Turn on Auto top-up.
Once it’s on, your wallet automatically refills its balance whenever it dips below your chosen limit – by pulling funds from the bank account you linked and selected. It’s fully automatic, fully within the limits you set.
Why it matters
No more low balance surprises, embarrassing delays or holding up the queue. With auto top-up, your wallet balance stays over your set limit, reducing the chance of payment interruptions at checkout.
You set the threshold, so you’re always ahead of it. You decide the trigger amount and top-up amount; nothing happens outside the rules you set.
A wallet built for smarter payments
Your amaze wallet makes everyday payments seamless. There are no annual fees, no admin fees, and no hidden FX markups when you spend in foreign currencies with the amaze wallet. Plus, you earn KrisFlyer miles on every eligible transaction with amaze linked to your wallet.
Now, auto top-up makes it even more convenient by automatically keeping your wallet funded whenever your balance runs low. Some fees may apply when you spend with amaze linked to a card.
